Like many baby boomers, I had a thing for Elizabeth Montgomery aka Samantha BEWITCHED Stevens.
Elizabeth Montgomery was born April 15th, 1933. On May 18th, 1995 she died of cancer. She was only 62.
Her nose, gams, and bottom have driven me wild, from puberty to middle age crazy.
I never understood why Dick York/Dick Sargent didn't embrace having a wife who was a witch.
Never having to drive or fly again and being able to see everything for free (sporting events, concerts, films, plays, etc.) would have been cool with me!
Besides BEWITCHED, I loved Liz in THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN, JOHNNY COOL, A CASE OF RAPE, MRS. SUNDANCE, THE AWAKENING LAND, DARK VICTORY, BLACK WIDOW MURDERS, AMOS, BELLE STARR, WHEN THE CIRCUS CAME TO TOWN, ACT OF VIOLENCE, THE VICTIM, the Two episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, WITH MURDER IN MIND, WHO'S BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED?, and her Edna Buchanan mystery TV movies.

Her parents were actor/director Robert Montgomery (HERE COMES MR. JORDAN, LADY IN THE LAKE, THEY WERE EXPENDABLE, ROBERT MONTGOMERY PRESENTS) and actress Elizabeth Allen (THE THREE WEIRD SISTERS).

She was nominated for 9 Emmy's (5 times for BEWITCHED, once for an episode of THE UNTOUCHABLES and 3 for her TV movie/miniseries work: THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN, CRY RAPE & THE AWAKENING LAND) and never won!
Sounds like witchcraft to me.
Montgomery was also nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards for her work on BEWITCHED, and never won! Somebody must have put a spell on her!
